Context
STM Journals is one of our group companies, not an independent client. We built ConnectPro for it and we run the platform.
The problem
Journals need the right researchers as authors, editors and reviewers. Finding them by hand takes editors a lot of time, and editors need to understand why a person is suggested before they make contact.
What we built
- A multi-tenant platform, so several STM publishers can use it, each with their own data.
- Discovery of researchers, editors and reviewers.
- Explainable AI role-fit suggestions: each suggestion says why the person may fit the role.
- Mandatory human review: a person checks every suggestion before anyone is contacted.
