Other industries: manufacturing, energy, telecom and finance
We have not yet built for clients in these industries. Our Live Labs demonstrators show how AI works on problems in manufacturing, finance and telecom.
Last updated
We have not yet built production tools for clients in manufacturing, energy, telecom or finance. What we can show are Live Labs demonstrators: browser-based labs that show how AI works on problems in these fields. They are learning tools, not client deployments.
Where AI helps
- Manufacturing: spotting faults and quality issues on a production line.
- Finance: flagging transactions that may be fraud for a person to review.
- Telecom: planning and managing networks.
Learning demonstrator, not a client deployment
Compliance notes
- Sector rules. Finance, telecom and energy have their own regulators and rules. We would agree these with you and your advisers in the Discover step.
- India’s DPDP Act 2023 and Rules 2025. Substantive duties apply from 14 May 2027. They include a plain-language notice, withdrawal of consent that is as easy as giving it, a grievance officer contact and breach notices. Registration of consent managers opens in Nov 2026.
- GDPR and UK GDPR. They apply when you handle personal data of people in the EU or the UK. Expect questions about lawful basis, data export and deletion, sub-processors and transfers.
- EU AI Act, Article 50. Since 2 Aug 2026, a chatbot must tell people they are talking to an AI, and AI-generated images and video need a label.
This is general information, not legal advice.
